Table Coaches support youth during programming by assisting in discussions, handing out materials, and coaching participants in breakout groups. Mentors play a crucial role in providing guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. A mentor may help a mentee explore career options, set goals, develop contacts, and identify valuable resources.
Lead Facilitators take charge of program delivery, ensuring smooth sessions while assisting in discussions, handing out materials, and coaching participants in breakout groups. They provide leadership in guiding youth through the program’s objectives.

Co-facilitators help gauge participants’ reactions and ensure youth understand the material presented. They assist in discussions, hand out materials, and provide support in breakout group activities. Additionally, co-facilitators serve as mentors, sharing career insights, offering emotional support, and guiding participants in setting goals and developing networks.
Youth Justice Committee Forums are a one-time mediation session facilitated by trained staff and a volunteer. The forum includes the victim, offender, and parents of both parties if desired. The goal is to provide the offender with an opportunity to repair the harm caused and to understand the impact of their actions. This process holds the offender accountable while fostering healing and resolution for all involved.
Intake workers play a critical role in conducting risk assessments with new clients and their families. The information collected is used by staff to assess appropriate interventions for the youth, ensuring they receive the support and resources best suited to their needs.
Administrative duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing. Research Assistants conduct YD program reviews, collect and analyze data, and prepare materials for submission to granting ministries and foundations.
That’s OK! Submit your application and we can help you determine which role might be the best fit!
