The Ripple Effect

Cyberviolence isn’t just “online drama”—it’s real, and it ripples far beyond the screen. The Ripple Effect is a powerful and engaging presentation designed for students in Grade 7 and up. Through real-life examples, interactive discussions, and relatable scenarios, youth will explore how digital actions can affect not only the victim, but bystanders, families, and even the person causing harm.

Students will learn:

• What cyberviolence looks like and how it spreads
• The emotional, social, and legal consequences of harmful online behavior
• How small actions—like forwarding a message or ignoring a harmful post—can create big waves
• How to be part of the solution by recognizing red flags, supporting peers, and creating safer digital spaces

This presentation empowers students to reflect on their own online choices and become positive digital citizens.
